TrueRMS measurements and optimized ergonomics make the BM 070 Series Clamp Meters the best general troubleshooting tools for commercial and residential electricians. BM072, BM076, BM079 are designed to verify the presence of load current, AC/DC voltage and continuity of circuits, switches, fuses and contacts. These small and rugged clamp meters are ideally suited for current measurements up to 600 A in tight cable compartments as well as small conductors using AmpTip™ jaws.
Unique features:
VFD V & Hz – Variable Frequency Drives – measures fundamental voltage and frequency of most variable frequency drives
Phase Rotation – Dual sensitivity modes for both motors and supply systems (BM079 & BM076)
In-Rush Peak RMS – Captures In-rush Peak RMS reading at duration as short as 80ms
EF-detection – both non-voltage (NCV) and single probe voltage detection for indentifying live lines
DCμA – for HVAC flame sensors, testing via probes (BM079 & BM076)
REC – MAX, MIN, MAX-MIN & AVG
Type K – temperature measurement (BM079 & BM076)
